Anyone out there with a comment about trying to remove the entire deck cap on the 23 Scepter? I'm thinking of doing this to make the transom replacement that much easier. It will also give me better access to the fuel fill hose that needs to be replaced.

Do I run the risk of not being able to put it back together? Will the hull blow out of shape once the cap is removed? I'm not trying to remove the inner lining, just the cap which includes the foredeck.

Would Bill Potter know this?
