yes, that is a good price. then again, if you have never owned a boat before, you may want to take a ride in a similar craft to see if this is really what you want to jump into. If this is truly your very first boat, you might find the 23' to be a handful.

Also, if you can only trailer 5k# max, I don't want to be on the highway the same day you are towing an SC23 down the road with a full tank of gas in the boat.
