As far as design, it is dated. I don't think the new ones have a bracket and full transom. It is a varible deadrise though.
As far as cost, there are alot of options out there for less money, I like the Palmettos.
As far as construction, the new seacrafts are spotty to say the least. They have had a few problems.
I haven't owned one, but I have riddin on them, and they ride good, but can be wet. Actually, most 30+ CC's can be wet.
There aren't many older boats out there, even seacrafts, without cosmetic cracks in the corners of the liner/cap. I don't have a single crack in my hull, but I have alot of cosmetic hairlines in the liner/cap. I guess if I had to have cracks, I would rather them in the liner/cap then in the hull itself.
