I have one just like it, also first boat a 1972 seafari, never been restored yet but looks great for it's age and it's still solid, it sat in a yard for 14 years without running, the owner gave it to me.
have the same 140 merc i/o, tell me what kind of prop you are running and if you are happy with it, mine is shot and looking into a new one.
