Guys, Thanks for you input. At first I was thinking of each box going into a Y fitting and then out the transom. If I go with the I/O, I'll be putting a big hole in the transom any way.

Scott, I haven't worked much on the boat but I'm now pressed for time since I'll be losing my space indoors. The cooler temps have helped a lot.

does the water collect on the outboard portion of the ice box? Where is the best place for the drain?
