Default Re: Fuel tank for a 20

I finally last night pulled my tank out and this morning on the way to work measured it. It is 60 x 24 x 9 but the fittings make it about 10 1/4 high. However much to my surprise it is a rectangle. There is no taper on the bottom it is built into a fiberglass box perhaps to keep fumes out of the hull. I have a 1973. I am looking for a new one as well. Keep me posted on what you find.
There is a good chance I will fix mine as it is in decent shape. There is a product called lab metal I have used in the past to patch aluminum tanks and have had good success.
Although all of the repairs have been on the top.
