GUYS! I was joking about making y'all happy....Someone had suggested I just do it myself....So I could get my boat back in service faster....PLUS. I couldn't think of anything else to use as a title for the tread.
It really is a shame they didn't take care of it. I was able to do all the work without ever openning the deck up. Once the liner under the console was out everything was sitting right there. I had a plan to put the liner back in, but once I seen they had stringers that mirrored the shape of the liner I choose to leave it out because it now gives me more room. I am going to paint everything with "BilgeCoat" so it will look a bit more professional, but I want to be sure it is going to stay together first.
I bought some of the aerosol gelcoat so I can patch up some places and I had to move my tow hooks when I installed the knees. So I have to patch those holes too.
When I'm finished it should look like new/never been touched. The work that was done in Tenneesse has caused more for me to repair....the cracks the boat had originally were not as bad as the ones that devoloped from where they tried to repair it.
