That post they are talking about above is OEM on today’s 23 SeaCrafts So I would be inclined to think it’s at a good height. 32 or 33 inches sounds familiar
Boat shows are great places to get a good sense for all the different leaning posts. Some of them are manufactured too low for me. Not about height but case in point a few years back we looked at a Silverhawk, two of them. One an I/O the other an outboard. They had identical posts on them. However sitting on the outboard leaning post felt different ... more comfortable. The salesman hadn't a clue as to why ... I found out from the fabricator of the post that they changed the angle on the backrest on the I/O to get the angle of the rocket launcher mounted across the back to point more to vertical. They did that because there was an engine box right behind the post and it was difficult to walk behind the post with the rods in the holders.
