I ripped all of mine out at the same time and I would suggest you do the same. The one thing that is imperative is that you block the boat and make sure she is straight and stays straight while you replace the stringers. I also laid in some more glass in areas while the stringers were out, not having the stringers in place helped out in laying new glass

To make the outer stringers m,ake a template and do your best, bonding putty may become your best friend.
