I have a Aluminum Rolls float on type for my 23'. I replaced the original brakes with Stainless Steel ones along with SS Rotors and Calipers. It has leaf springs that I have replaced once. I have owned the trailer since 1986. The only complaint I have is the LARGE Cypress Bunks that are 4"x 12" which causes the trailer to float when submerged. With a strong wind and/or swift current it becomes tricky keeping the trailer straight when loading.

With practice, it's nothing that a good sailor can't adjust to [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
