Default Re: twins setup question

I really love my twins on my '79 23 MA CC. The bracket gives me so much more fishing room and the boat "feels" longer. The azz end seems to stay in the water better in a chop, too. I only wish my bracket had more flotation as I need to leave the rear scuppers plugged. I have however just put in a new fuel tank that is only 95 gallons vs. the 155 gallon one which has effectively moved the center of gravity a few feet forward and moved some weight out of the stern. I will let you know if this worked to any extent later tonight as I am about to splash the boat in an hour or so. As for speed, my little Suzi 115's push the boat at 4k rpm's to about 25.5 knots and wot about 37ish knots. Pleanty of speed for now and great economy and piece of mind 40 miles from shore.
