although mine is old and fairly ugly it ties in to the console with pipe running from the electronics box (bolted to the top and to the 4 legs) to the top of the console- and the legs go to the deck, which are attached and held tight to the console with "U" bolts and then bolted/screwed to the deck (dont have access to thru bolt all- lemme see if I can find a pic- its very sturdy-
