It's not that Tracker wouldn't give me the info. but instead they told me that their records did not go back that far. It had something to do w/when they bought out Seacraft which I didn't quite understand. But that's the 411 on that. The info. about the maximum horsepower for our boats that many of us seem to be interested in is extremely important for insurance purposes. Insurance companies "may not" insure your boat if it exceeds the limits regarding horsepower, so you need to know the correct info. before you go out and buy to big of an engine and then have to turn around and sell it me for half the price.
