If you have wood that is laminated in the bilge for mounting the pumps as shown in the picture below, then 4200 is more than adequate. Since they are screwed into wood you just need to seal the hole to prevent water intrusion. I would not go directly to the glass with the plastic strainer [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
