I just finished reading the Prayer FOR Mariners and must say that it’s just not the way I think, although I am a believer sometimes how someone says things don’t really relate to how we really are.
My prayers are a little shorter when I am on my boat like.

Here is a prayer I kind of like.
Fisherman's Prayer
God grant that I may live to fish,
until my dying day,
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray,
When in the Lord's safe landing net,
I'm peacefully asleep,
That in his mercy I be judged,
As big enough to keep.
