Default Re: Value 23 CC

Briguy right now I have 6K that I am willing to part with, I have money that will be invested in real estate but won't get a return for roughly 12 months, my thoughts are if I can buy a hull for the 6K and trickle money into it doing all the work myself over the winter it will be ready for power in the spring where I can find a used 250 OX66 or Merc 250 EFI around for short money used of course and then in a couple years fill the transom and drop a new Zuke 250 or 300 on it with a bracket and finish it off . I have electronics laying around here that I took off when I upgraded my last boat only piece missing is the ship to shore, the trailer the boat has is an AL bunk with brand new tires that has only been used 3-4 times a year on average it's older but it is AL. The current owner recently retired and his wife has decided they will move to Florida where he plans to buy a 30 something Sea Craft, the boat was in use this past season until early September when one of the motors scored a cylinder, the other runs but is down to 80# on a cylinder. If the hull is sound and looks good I am all over it, I don't know where you guys are finding 5K 23' Sea Crafts on AL trailers but if this one falls through I would like to know because I have looked at nothing but junk and have yet to see a 23 under 12K here There is someone looking it over today for me and if he says go I will have a surveyor looking it over and go from there. Wish me luck!!
