Same reason Contender's weighed a few thousand pounds less 2 years ago yet there has been zero change in construction materials or process....Aprox. weights.

I know Contender posted my old boat to weigh in at 3500 lbs dry yet in reality is was over 7500 with low fuel and engines....I know a Yamaha 2 stroke 200 does not weigh more than 1500lbs [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

I Guess my point is I would use the weights as approximations as I do not think they ever took a calibrated load cells and weighed them.

I have been told that the CSY built boats did in fact weigh in heavier beause of a thinkcer lay up scheduale but I have no hard facts there.
