Yeah I had a similar situation at the NY boat show after looking at all of the other boats they wandering to the Key Largo booth. The fit and finish was a real turn off. However I pound the hell out of things and the boat does have a utilitarian concept to it that I do like. I understand it is lighter than the potter hulls my only issue is that in my recent search for a hull. I am finding mid 70's vintage boats needing complete overhauls for 9 grand after dropping another 6-8 in glass work into the boats and outfitting with t-top for 2 electronics for 3 and trailer for 3 into the boat for 25+ before I put my motor onto it. i could in theory save 10 g and but the new Key largo/Palm Beach. I am having a hard time though because those old seacrafts are such beautys and you rarely see of the older ones on the water of which I am a huge fan.
