Default Re: Bill Potter's personal 1979 20 Overnighter Rar

Re. the magazine ad, I have it, the original, cut out of a magazine!
Actually, it reads, "Tonight they'll sleep aboard. Up a mountain."

Mr. Potter will surely remember it.

A 1969 I/O model is pictured being towed in the mountains behind a large Olds wagon and the text seems to suggest with some seriousness that the boat can be used out of the water as a camper!

Features are described thusly: "These features include 6'6" upholstered V berths. Self contained flushing toilet. Screen doors. Alcohol stove. Washbasin/sink with running water. Folding dinette table. Two insulated ice chests. And storage lockers."

It also reads, "The SeaCraft Seafari is completely self contained for living. On water. Or on land." [sic on all the periods.]

Another line: "Out of the water the Seafari is a trim, comfortable camper."

I didn't know my boat had such amazing capabilities!
