I have the same jack plate mounted on a 15' Whaler, using the 6" wedge. Have similar porpoising. Only solution I have found is a FULL cooler in front of the forward thwart. Friend with identical hull and engine minus the jack loves his setup. Same props, mine is hitting the rev. limitor at 6100 rpms, and I believe his WOT is more like 5700, which is recommended. I guess cleaner water, and really jacked, I'm in the market for a higher performance prop. Try shifting as much weight forward as possible. Notice more rev.s to stay on plane? Vezo, Part II.
