I bought one of the Pop - up (flip up) bow lights from the 1st generation, I have had problems with the bulb working loose and it turns out they made a bunch with the bayonet tabs for the bulb out by 90 degrees so that when the bulb was locked, the contacts for the 12vdc were not contacting....if you have the same problem from one of those, it can be fixed by removing the bayonet sleeve and rotating it 90 - 60 degrees.
