I know, I just realized that myself, that's why I asked where you launch from! We need to stick together down here, there's not many of us!!
I usually head out Caesar's Creek out to the first large buoy (I think that's Pacific Reef but my charts are on the boat so I'm not sure right now) and then troll from there north to Fowey Rocks and then back down but I'm still very new on this area so I'm still learning my way around the fishing grounds. I usually follow the 150-200 feet depth looking for the usual gamefish out here. It's been OK but not awesome like it can be, and I've been experimenting with lures instead of bait but so far only a few False Albacore and some dolphin, no billfish yet. I guess I haven't found that perfect trolling speed yet! I'd like to do some deep bottom fishing also but haven't tried it yet, maybe we can gou out sometime and you can show me some spots you might not mind sharing!
