I bought new with the motor a 15 ¼ x 17 Saltwater Series #6R4-4578-A0-00. Which is the one I stayed with since 2002. The Yamaha specs say it should push my boat between 37-48 mph as I said before I have only full throttled my motor one time to verify it was the correct prop back in 2002 got 5200 / 5300 and around 42 mph or so on the gps all for approx 5 minutes and have never full throttled since I run my boat 3500 to max 4000 which will push me 25-30 or so depending on sea conditions. My back up prop is 14 ¼ x 18 Performance 3 blade #MAR-GYT3B-V6-18. I really haven’t used it much. I picked it up at the Marine flee marked in Davie a few years back. I run 3 guys and plenty of gas puts it on a plain in no time and never have had a issue in power. I get approx 12.5 gal per hr burn at 25-30 mph. Idling around catching bait in Government Cut burns approx ¼ to 1/3 of my gas per fishing day, those OX66 don’t like idling
