Default Re: Stolen Sea Craft Warning

Many years ago a friend of mine was on his way to the keys
for bug season. They stopped at the 162 nd street mall in Miami to go shopping. When they came back out the Suburban and 20SF were gone. Everything, dive gear, tackle, you name it.
Fortunately they had a couple of friends that had a Suburban and a 17 Whaler parked right next to them.
It was still there, go figure. They returned to the mall
after filing the police report, to buy all the essentials.
Loaded up in there friends "Burb" and headed on to the keys
to still have there vacation. After returning to Daytona,
Miami notified him they found the SeaCraft floating down the Miami river full of holes, no motor console, etc.
The bums tried to sink her, but could'nt. They caught the
bad guys in Liberty City. The cop noticed the vent window
on the "Burb" knocked out. Back when this happened that model year had vent windows. And it was only a year old.
Thats what caught his eye also.
Long story short, Insurance got the burb and my friend got the boat back, still in use today and gaurded closely.
