Default Re: 1973 Sea Craft CC For Sale

Everyone who called or considered this boat really lost out. I arrived to inspect and I could not believe the condition. Yes, it needs a few things but John (Her Paycheck) over killed the weak points. He truely wanted me to know everything wrong on the boat before I made the trip. It is a great boat. I have been looking at SCs for 6-8 months and NEVER found one like this (for sale). Considering the condition/mods I consider it a deal. I can do the math in my sleep. I asked John to "patch" the trailer up for the trip home and he rebuilt everything. I had to argue and negotiate with him to help pay for parts. He threw in everything but the wife and kids. He also called several times while I was on the road to check on my "adventure" home. John is first class. John, next time you sell a car, boat, please call. I will be first in line to buy. You name the price. Thanks much.

As John indicated, I did have car problems coming home. Had to divert to my old home, Atlanta to buy another tow vehicle. Sorry to report that the new paint will have to wait until the end of summer. Oh well, I can use it now!

Ikan Beazer (Mark) took me fishing in Stuart on Tuesday. It was great meeting him and fishing on the holy grail of 20' Seacrafts. Truely a great boat and owner to match. Caught one dolfin...... Thanks Mark. Come to Virginia and I will take you croaker fishing. Sorry I couldn't stop by and me you Chuck. I was pushed for time. (and ended up needing it on the trip)

Thanks everyone else for all the advice and direction during the boat hunt. You guys have been great. I'm in now. Am I officially part of the cult now?
