Re doing a boat can be a very time consuming job. For me to due my entire boat took 150 days of work before I splashed it and I know I must have put in another 20 days more since then on little trick stuff. The most tedious part was fairing, sanding, prepping and painting. On my boat I rolled and tipped it thus I hade to sand the entire boat between coats of paint. I was quoted in the $6,000 bracket to have a pro paint my entire boat after I had done most of the prep work myself.
