hey bud- the left hand port in your pic (rh means right handed motor rotation) is out, the right hand port in the pic is inlet side for your motor. you dont have to even start your motor to see- just stick that inlet side hose in a five gallon bucket of water and turn her over- the water will come quick and strong if the pump is good. the pump impellar will usually correct itself if you have them (the fins) in backwards. like i said before check the pump for water flow first to eliminate any more pump questions.
