Since I really hate working on the bottom of boats all that stuff falling on you face, while you are laying on your back and I did not have any means to flip the boat over or to suspend it up in the air since I worked on my boat in the driveway of my house on the weekends I had the bottom paint soda blasted off by a marina and had a guy I new who had a glass shop do the gel coat job for me. He lifted the boat up 4-5’ in the air removing the trailer and did it. I really don’t know which brand of gel coat he used. But I really like the bottom gel coated and the sides and deck painted. Kind of the best of both worlds I did a day of tough up gel coating in May this year on a few nicks and it is nothing to fix up dings and stuff after it’s been done.
