I would atleast clamp the tank's in temporary.
Use some C-clamp's and 2X4's. Shim under the 2X4's to touch the tank top's. Install the clamp's on that shelf in front of the rudder post and foward of that too.
No need in taking a chance of them being shoved up. Then you will have a mess.
