Default Re: Should I buy a 2006 Seacraft 25?

Most of the guys here all have older boats and really don’t have much first hand info on the new ones. That being said I go to Outdoor World once or twice a month to buy stuff and look around. “From the outside looking in they haven’t changed much just like the 23’s the hull design is really the same. There have been some quality issues that have come up from people about the sealing from the deck and liner with the live well and some gel coat issues. One member here had a major problem with the transom on a approx 5 to 7 year old boat and could never get the co. to fix it correctly. All that being said I really don’t know how good they are being built now that they have moved to the Carolinas. As for the boat itself I wish they would have stretched it out to a 27-28 footer I would think that would be a great 2 motor longer ranged craft.
I know that Brunswick just bought the CABO Boats Co. and those guys are groaning thinking that the quality of the boats would be brought down for the sake of profitability and expedience well they are not the only company that has done that to a boat line.
