Strick, you make a good point and after you mentioned that I remember I did have to keep mine plugged on the old boat a lot of the time when there were two people in the stern. Now to go against the grain a little, and since i leave my boat in the water as Chance does, I like the drains going out the bottom. They really work great for rainwater and to me unless I am heavy on fuel they are really not a big deal- I just put the plugs in when I first get in the boat and forget about it. I can remove them again when I am running if for some reason I need two. If just me in the boat I dont need to plug them at all. I think you are making a wise desicion not messing with them Chance. Those pix of your boat sure look nice too!
