thanx guys- strick- i wish that was my "mansion" but its not- but there is a 74- 23 i/o sitting on a lift right beside my boat,lol. his "little" sister he calls it.
Chuck- the lines are indeed as clean as they come, one thing i really love about this boat is that with the console placed somewhat aft of center, I can fish around bridges etc in all kinds of running tides, running and holding the boat in place, bopping along from piling to piling while holding the rod and fishing at the same time- not an easy thing to do in other boats and pretty much impossible in any cuddy boat.Pretty nice when the fishing season is pretty much year around here and some of the best fishing is just starting,lol.
Chance- Yes , I have some water intrusion in the transom but it doesnt sound as severe as what you describe. As long as your transom can handle the hydraulic ram and trim tabs, i dont think it is a big deal at all. see y'all and thanx again for the nice comments, craig
