I debated that back and forth reelescape1. With the cuff restraint's on the ram it pulled harder on the bulkhead fitting's, due to extending them farther away. I checked Teleflex's site and found no imfo on that subject.
I just replaced mine or I wouldn't have remembered. The teleflex paper instructions say to have it on the cylinder end, probably because of all the movement, tilting, steering, etc. One of the two hoses I installed has it on both ends which brings up the question...Why not have them on both ends of every hose??? I don't think you'll have a problem, just an observation!!
