I agree with Pete - and did a quick check for you - NADA says it's worth about 5K, and then I went to Hardcore Marine and priced a couple 88- 89 Yam 200's for just under 3K - so your looking at something much lower than his asking -
Next questions - what were the use of the boat - hardcore offshore fishing, inshore fishing, family fun - stored in water, kept on trailer - if trailered, short haul to the ramp, or long road trips - with / without transom saver, kept covered, inside storage, or sitting out ?? Is the trailer the same vintage? condition?
What it boils down to is needing some close inspection and a sea trial - that boat could go anywhere between 5K and maybe 12K max, probably only if it was immaculate and dressed out more than you indicated.
