Damn! I wished I'd found that before.
I still haven't found that new ACR online anywhere.
This is the original one that they came out with.

If you look at the instruction's there they tell you to use Big fuse's. I like CB's. I also put 150amp CB's in that system. Maxed it out.
I didn't like the idea of the remote combiner. It wouldn't handle the amperage that the one I wired will. The cost is cheaper too.
It's really a simple to operate system.
When you ready to operate the boat: Turn the Motor & House Master switch's on. That's it.
Leave the combine switch in OFF, unless the start battery is low and will not start the motor. Then turn the Combine ON/OFF switch to ON. After you start the motor, turn the combine switch to OFF.
Here's another deal about these ACR's.
They will pull a small amount of power from the batteries when All the switch's are off. Where talking mA. Check the product manual for "Power consumption"
You can trip both of the 150amp breaker's and it will stop that. Or there are other way's to wire the CB's in the system by picking up the power on the far side of the ON/OFF switch's, instead of at the battery post's.
When those Master switch's are OFF it would kill the power consumption from the ACR.
If the boat sat unused for a month the battery would be down a little.
But that may be a problem with where the 30amp breaker is in the circuit now. Just tripping the breaker's is pretty easy and easy to reset when you turn both master switch's on to use the boat.
