Default Re: Best seats?

Hi John,

My 2 cents on experience with a fishing buddy. This guy can and will and has ripped out any pedestal seat . Some passengers just dont get the concept on how to sit in a pedestal(go with the flow man .... the flow!!). If there were better backing plates in the floor, it would be a matter of time before the floor pulled up!

Anyhow he is and exception (i hope), but my point is maybe reduce the lever pressure of a long pedastal by placing on top of a fiberglass box for storage, etc.

I decided for now that a cooler seat is good enough for any passenger and that no-slip mat that they sell at Home Depot works great to keep in place. I have my pedestal and know how to sit in one ... it is all about the flow!

This way you can spend up to $500 on your seat! and throw them a cooler ...

If you want my buddy to check out your chairs let me know ....
