The US Navy paints their hulls "Haze Grey" as to make them invisable on the horizon. I remember Mr. Potter telling me that SeaCraft purposely chose 4 distinct colors for their hulls so they would be
Highly Visable out on the water. "Yellow, Dark Blue, Red and robins egg blue."
