I have a freshman catcher down here in Florida. He is crazy over college ball. We go up to Birmingham Alabama every May for the SEC tournament. It's a fun week. My boy plays at a private school called Northside Christian in St. Petersburg, FL. In 2002, they were the #7 team in the country. Five of their players went to division one colleges that year and the center fielder Lastings Milledge was the first pick of the Mets. He was brought up last year after a fast track in the minors. Two years ago they sent a boy your way to play at Liberty. Many big schools wanted him, but he followed his heart. Sounds like the next level can be just as frustrating as high school. I have witnessed what I call "daddy-ball" since his little-league/aau days. I'm sure it is still there even in college. Hope your boy stays healthy and has a great year. I'll try to follow his team some. About my SC. It's a 1987 18ft with a 135 Mercury Optimax. It is the perfect boat! I only wish that it were a 23ft. We fish for kingfish, grouper,tarpon, and snapper around here. I've been out as far as 26 miles on our best weather days. I've been told that this boat was one of the final ones built by CSY(caribbean sailing yatchts in Tampa). She doesn't look her age! I'll try to post photos later. Talk to you later. MarlinT
