Default Re: Info on 222 HILINER??

Congrats on your project!! The Hiliner 222 Gypsy is one of my favorite boats. It's very close to the Bertram 20 Bahia Mar. Boston Whaler built a few boats with the hiliner 222 molds and called it the Yankee Voyager (only non-vee hull BW). Supposedly Nauset Marine in Chatham has the molds. I read somewhere else that another set of molds went south to Florida.

As you probably already know it's a C Raymond Hunt design. 24 degree deadrise, Foam filled hull, fiberglass stringers, monel fuel tanks, etc. Hiliner 222's were very expensive high end boats.

Don't be afraid to email C. Raymond Hunt and Associates for information on the hull. They might have line drawings or other information. John Deknatel responded to my email about the v20 stepift several years ago.

Here's a pic of a beat down hiliner 222 Gypsy.
