Snow? Let's put it this way: My tow vehicle for the Four Boat Theory is a 2004 Yukon XL. It is equipped with a Western 8' Pro Plow
that has been used every day for the last 2 weeks thanks to "Lake Effect" snow off Lake Ontario.
The heaviest snow is actually in Northern New York, just to our east between Mexico and Watertown, NY. They had 63" in 24 hours earlier this week. Think about that for a minute.
We've been lucky, but it's getting old. Temps in the single digits and teens are NOT condusive to working on a SeaCraft.
Good news, however, we're attending the annual Chippewa Bay Fish and Game Club Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday on the Saint Lawrence River. I'll be using the chainsaw (not to remove a fuel tank, but) to cut a real hole in the 20" thick ice off our cottage to access some big ass Northern Pike. This place is 30 miles NORTH of Watertown (Fort Drum)on the Canadian Border. $500 first prize. Cold beer. Images to follow...
