Default I am now a full-fledged member!!!

Gentlemen: I have made the leap and bought a 1969 Seacraft that appears to be in very good condition. The boat, a 20 foot center console came from Florida. I got the boat, motor (140hp Johnson) and trailer for $1,700.00. It's on the way to me and I can't wait.

It has pretty good equipment, besides the motor, it has am/fm/cd, radio, gps, and is extremely clean. The only thing I wished it had is a t-top, not a bimini....but at the price, I think it will do.

The guy I bought it from claimed to have done the stringers 2 years ago. Besides the soft spots on the deck, what would be any other indicators of damage underneath?

I've spent a week studying this site and the information is excellent11 Kudos to all who started the site and have contributed. I hope to contribute also. Isn't the internet great?

So long for now.
