The transom and deck are solid. I have drilled holes in it to mount trim tabs and transducers and no water came out and the shavings were dry. The deck was repaired by me about 6 years ago when I got it. It is plywood covered with glass. And I cut out the bad stuff, faired and painted. It still looks good.
Last year I did a compression test that showed all cylinders to be betweeen 90 and 96 psi on my guage.
That 1990 is interesting , I wish there were more pictures of it.
I have a short list of a few boats that I would like. the latest I am going to look at is a 25 Parker. Same size as the whitewater but a whole different animal. I still have my 20SF and am looking for a family fishing/traveling machine.
