Well went on the recon today, lots of sand has moved around but the Northend it will be, the bathroom has been spiffed up and is straight up ( not a 30'angle)

and very clean including a magizine rack, didn't smell either. We checked out some likey spots and I'm sure it will work great. The picture I posted of the sand point is the target, the smaller boats can get in the swash and the 23's may be nearer the point for more water and not having to deal with the bar, but its a short walk, like 100 yards. Had a painfully steady North wind at 10-water temp 70.7 chilly but going up the beach to the tree's was really nice and found a great spot for a central gathering, I also don't think we will have to deal with a north wind that time of year except a seabreeze for a short time. The swash was pretty deep, thigh deep at mid tide but the getting across the bar at low may be an issue for a 23- the tides that weekend are a low at 4 AM and 4PM so we can live with that no sweat but at low just anchor 100 yds down the beach. Talked with Ranger Chris and he's aware were coming but they really don't care just wanted registration numbers for the CG if were lost at sea He also mentioned no dogs allowed on the island but I will deal with that personally
Forgot mention its still still just gorgious out there, ran through some sand patches coming up on the pass and they looked shallow, looked and it was 6+ ft, water clarity is close to the keys at times since the north end is away from the Anclote River.
