Re: Insurance Quote - How does it compare???
I pay $328.92 for $12K agreed value on my '72 20' Seafari, ($27.41 per $1000), and I pay $256.80 for $10K value on my '94 17' Carolina Skiff ($25.68 per $1000). I did pay $402.20 for my 23' '74 Tsunami at $15K agreed value ($26.81 per $1000). I noticed that the older the boat the higher the rate.
All are insured through State Farm, as additions (not riders) on my multi-vehicle policy, which also has 1 2005 Scion, 1 2002 F250 pickup, 1 1977 Suzuki motorcycle, and 1 2005 travel trailer. And with the exception of the MC, all have full replacement coverage.
