There are Cobia on those flats no doubt, although we don't target them like you do on the the east coast-they usually just swim up behind the boat when grouper fishing or drifting for trout. I wouldn't worry about the tower too much, there will be Kings by the ton, Mackerel will be a pain in the ass but big, grouper and cobia offshore within 15 miles, reds,snook and trout right at the camp site or 5 minutes away on the flats. Capt Matt is an expert grouper troller and I have #'s up the whasoo so maybe he can chime in. That sand is so pure and clean you squeak when you walk, no kidding

saw 2 or 3 coons, Susan yelled at me when I invited them over but she let me leave hot dogs in a tree for them, just not real close.
