Default Re: 23 sceptre windshield glass replacing

I re-did all the glass and seals on my '75, 23' Tsunami. I took the old plexi pcs to my local glass guy - he used them as templates and ordered tempered glass for them. Worked out great ! For the two sides, and the one center pc, it was like $350 - worth every penny.

Talk to Mike @ American Marine ( the OEM for SC window parts ). I'd switch out those sh*tty plastic, window turns/hold-downs for the newer, heavy-duty handles. I did this and have posted my happiness w/ this retrofit.

Also, order the GE silicone that American uses to rebed the glass - it's hard to find anywhere and it is the stuff you want to use ( they use it for their own installs ).

Lastly, they sell the OEM replacement seals for all the windows - buy 'em ! The hardest part is figuring out how to make the perfect angles at each corner ( but it's totally do-able )

Now's the time to do it right. Good luck.
