Re: motor,cavatition plates and not being correct
The water pick up is well below that, the cav plates are what the name says but that doesn't mean they drag under water. There is a formula the bracket guys use for the set back to get the motor height correct but I'm not positive what it is since I don't have one. I think its like 1" above for each 12" of set back, but don't quote me on that, if you have no cavatation at any time maybe go up a hole-higher is better.
