I saw a 20 last weekend that had a 175 Zuke on a 20 with a bracket. He had completely redone and taken out the scuppers in the corners, had some others in the middle of the back floor. I noticed the boat sat pretty low in the water, approx 5" below the waterline at the stern. You may have raised the transom but it would kill the self bailing in my opinion unless you also raised the floor.
