Peter you are right the canyons are far. From down here the tip of the Baltimore and Wilmington are 66-68 miles and I look for action just short of there.

I typically fish only the best forecasted days and usually stop at 30-40 fathoms (45-60 miles).

Smart weather decisions, a current raft and a 406 ebirb are on board for sure. I had a 26 shamrock and fished many times out there and sold a 27 Albemarle for my seacraft so when offshore is in the veins, you gotta go.
