Thanks for the input. My 72 has a live well in the port transom box (original) so I guess I could leave it there though it would need some repair. I will be raising my deck and putting the tank in the floor as far forward as possible so I suppose I will be in the same situation as you. If I got a live-well/leaning post that would knock out two birds with one stone though. hmmm

My wheel should be in by the time I get back from the Carolinas so I guess I will just play with it to figure out the best angle.
